Free Stuff! and a move.

I got orders to Edwards AFB in California. I won't be able to handle 2 Cruisers and a DD/tow rig for a while. So, I am giving my newly acquired FJ80 to my mother until I can get back to get it. It may be a year or so, I am dragging it down to Ms. while on leave the second week of June. In addition I have several random cruiser parts I can bring down if anyone wants them. There is only 1 item I would like to get a little $ for. So here is the list:

1 2F valve cover, very clean and painted with wrinkle finish black paint. This is the only item I would like to get 4 for.

1 2F valve cover, as pulled off the engine. Free

1 4 speed bellhousing

1 transmission spacer

2 4 speed t-case housings. 1 is damn near sterile clean, the other not so clean.

1 pair FJ60 stainless rocker trim pieces. I have no idea how I got them.

1 FJ80 stock front bumper with ends and intake openings.

1 pair of early FJ80 running boards

1 set of early FJ80 mud flaps

1 set of early FJ40 hard door window felts.

1 pair of early hard doors. need work but not too much.

1 early FJ40 windshield frame. really needs work.

1 pair FJ60 drum brakes.

I think I have an FJ40/55 parking brake drum too. If anyone is interested, I'll look for it.

Stock steering arms for early FJ40 and FJ60 (wider bolt pattern)

I also have a full hard top that's dis-assembled. I would like to get a little $ for that too. Make an offer on that and I'll drag it down too. All glass is intact as well. the drip rails on the FG cap will need work.

If anyone wants any of this stuff, I'll have it in Gautier. But only the items anyone asks for.

I figured I would give you guys dibs on this stuff before I offer it to the local Hampton Va. guys. I don't think the movers will pack much of this stuff.

Oh and I have a Cummins 24 Valve valve cover hanging on the garage wall too. I don't need that anymore either.

You are one bad mofo (or highly trained!). Keep in touch and I can't wait to see that plane! I haven't had a chance to put a drop of gas on the 22 yet so I need to see that one as well. I was told that yall put on a great show in Meridian. Sorry I couldn't make it.

Later,

I don't mean to backpedal here, but a local grabbed the dirty t-case housing Sunday night. So I'll drag the clean spare down.

Hey Green73,
I'm not a CLC member, but follow their "clubhouse" at times. I see that Gaither, MS is at the gulf coast, I'm located near Memphis, TN. Never the less, if somebody is traveling between here & there, I would be interested in these things listed. I have a "new to me" 1972 FJ 40 and it looks like this stuff might come in handy some day. The felts would be very useful right now, doors & steering arms I might need in future.

1 set of early FJ40 hard door window felts
1 pair of early hard doors. need work but not too much
Stock steering arms for early FJ40 and FJ60 (wider bolt pattern)

Thax anyway
OldTruck
P.S. We have had a couple pilots from the Camp Robinson base near Jacksonville, AR in the Razorback Land Cruiser club. Now, it's mostly just cargo carriers, C130 family?
Pss. Look forward to seeing / meeting some of you folks again this year at Ramble next weekend.

Green,
Sorry I'm not timely on your reply about family in Mempho. If you are headed this way, I'd be more than willing to buy a Memphis BBQ dinner for those parts.
Hope move goes well.
Give a call or email when headed up this way.
