| Maybe YOU should push ahead with this project.... it sounds like you have given this WAY more thought than I have.

| Well- only problem with that is that I'm in Japan! But I'll be happy to help with the design- just not sure I can find a fabricator. And shipping would kill. But-I'll look into it.

| Though I have thought about this a bunch- the one issue that I'm aware of that is not easy to deal with is the slow curve that runs across the top lengths of the bows. That curve seems like it would be had to make.
A vendor should really pic this project up because I'm sure it would sell. Anyone looking at getting soft top bows is already looking at 800 bones then throw in a cage as well...... Heck I'm looking at buying a whole extra car just to get a set of bows and doors. If it is not offered by a vendor I'm hoping to make this cage eventually but I have nothing to work from and eventually in my case means a very long time.

| Been getting a front bumper made for my 60 by this same fabricator... (see the 60 tech section) We have been talking about it but need to ramp it up to looking at OEM bows...

| Edit: I didn't realize this was in the vendor forum. Moved to tech.

| It never got off the ground. The fabricator I was talking to is busy with... fabricating. The R&D on this is significant and he and I are 2 hours drive apart. So... I guess yeah, it is dead.
