80 series Turbo Manifold feeler
I have finished my turbo manifold project and wanted to get an idea of how many people might be interested in one. I'll need 10 prepaid orders in order to actually place that order. Right now I don't have a price as I'm not sure it's worth the time or effort to work that out.
The manifold is cast from ductile iron with 1/4" wall thickness. Completely machined and uses factory hardware to attach to the motor. It has a 38mm Tial waste gate port as well as a T4 turbo port. It was designed for a GT35R but others, close in size, should also fit.
If interested please post up and when I have around 15 names I'll move forward with working out pricing.
here is the development thread Turbo
It's kind of long as I started with a weld Ell build and moved to a casting over the 2 1/2 year period.

I am interested with many caveats. Here are few:
1. if a full kit is offered
2. A reliable installation process is developed, or if you offer installation services
3. It does not interfere with the second battery installed.
Meaning I am not interested in buying a manifold. I am interested in a solution.

I am interested. Money, and my limited Forced Induction knowledge base, will be my limiting factors.

definatly interested too. was already thinking of a turbo system with a local shop here in phoenix, having a built manifold could make this easier.

I'm interested in one but honestly don"t have the funds at this time. I'm hoping you get enough to do your production run now, and will be able to do a 2nd or 3rd in the future.

not at this time. Although I know all the players now to get it done rather quickly I don't think there would be enough interest to justify the project.

I would just be interested in the manifold BTW. I want to piece mine together after watching several build threads. I think the only "package" deal i would want is perhaps a manifold and a turbo.

x2
I'm very interested in the manifold only. Price is a factor. For $650, I would send the money real quick.

OK, I just got off the phone with the machine shop.
With a minimum order of 10 units they would be $625.00 plus S&H
Delivery time would be ASAP which means there would not be a set delivery time. 10 units is kind of a small casting order for the foundry so they would be worked in to the schedule when allowed.
I'm working on hangers and a heat shield and those items would be separate from the manifold at this time.

Interested but lurking for a complete solution - I'm on the fence between Turbo vs SC. I've avoided the Turbo route due to cost but you seem to be getting it down closer to the SC realm

C'mon guys, this is a one time thing. Save your pennies, do whatever you have to. You can always sell the thing down the road if you never use it and probably recoup all or more of your money.
I'm interested in manifold only. Turbos and everything else is readily available. There are many great minds on this board that can help you piece something together or help you get it installed. The manifold is the piece we need to jump on.
Hell, I could even piece together an install kit with pieces and instructions when that time comes.

Ok, i will be honest, i want one badly but my funds are super tight. I'm waiting for a deal to finalize (that has been dragging out for 4 months) and when it does i will buy one for sure. So that's the place i'm at. I wish i could say i will be good for it in a week, or whenever, i just can't put a commitment on it yet. trust me, i'm bummed.

Signed up just to get in on this. Add me to the list for 1. If it came down to the wire I could get a second as a back up, but I prefer just one at this point.

I think most want to see the final product before committing which is exactly what I would do.

The final product is in the picture on the kitchen table? It's a big cast piece of iron. Not much you can screw up. With all this R&D and many many months the thread has been alive I don't doubt the product one bit.
Did you post this to pirate4x4? Might be able to get a few more takers on there.

No I'm not on that site. I'll be tearing down the engine this weekend hopefully to start the project.

10 is the limit you said right? I have not followed this much so I don't know if you're loyal to that shop, but have you explored other shops for a lower number? I can't speak for others, but I would pay more to make sure I get one. I am all about turbos and would much rather have it then a sc setup.
