8274 solenoid pack covers - made from aluminum
Some Mud members have expressed an interest in buying one of my 8274 solenoid pack covers made from aluminum and powder coated with a red "W". Some of these requests were made quite some time ago so I will attempt to PM each of them to see if they might still be interested. I will be fabbing these up in the next three weeks at a price of $28.00 Canadian Funds for one. This cover fits my older M8274 model and I have no idea if it will fit others. Keep in mind I am in Canada so would likely mail them parcel post. Canada posts website quotes $10.70 to ship ground 6-12 business days to the lower 48. Somewhere in this forum someone said that Warn wanted $37.00 US for their replacement plastic cover.
Post up if you want one $28.00 CDN ea. plus shipping
Some pics...

Might be a bit late, but if Dan's are ready for the start of November, I could pick them up on the way to S'nT for him.

Can I get one with no hole in the middle of the W? (I have mine modified to in-cab remote as well as relocated the remote plug).
If so- I'm in.

what are the measurements? I just bought a brand new 8274 but would love to see if your fits. Looks great. I hate plastic crap.

Roberto,
The inside dimensions of the my cover are 7.25" x 5.25" - there are two screw holes on the top and one on the bottom to attach it to the solenoid backing plate.

The 8274-50 has the controller plug in on the side of the box. The 8274 has it in front. The boxes are the same size as far as outside dimensions. The 8274-50 box is about 1/2" deeper though.
The 8274-50 box fits on the 8274 but with the controller on the side it becomes a wire stuffing nighmare.

Love it and exactly what I need for mine. Please put me on the list.
If I am figuring this correctly, currently $28.00 cdn = $25.34 us. Plus $10.70 cdn shipping = $9.69 us. So about $35 us shipped?
Let me know when and where you'd like payment.
Thanks,
Ed

Thanks for the order arnott- 3, no holes.
Pick up is fine - assuming your bro is in the Calgary area.
Production starts tomorrow - should be done in a week/ week and a half. I have enough pieces now that the powder coater doesn't have to wait and combine it with another customer.

Looking forward to the unit....thank you.

Payment
Well... either way. If you don't mind making two transactions you can pay $28.00 now and the shipping later. Or I can PM you the total after getting the exact cost from the post office and you can pay me then. Local buyers can just pay and come get'em or come get'em and pay.
My Paypal is ksteinhauer @ telus . net (without the spaces of course - gotta keep those spammers away)
