Boxes are built, cut, painted, and ready to ship....I'm waiting on Exile to get me the XT10'sto fill the remaining part of the order....I used my personal XT10 for the build, but I only have one...

Sorry guys, I didnt know they were going to take this long..If Exile doesnt get me the subs by Wednesday I will check with the Exile Distributor in Virgina to see if they have any in stock. I have an account with Exile and not the distributor, but we have waited long enough and if I have to set up an account with the dist. I will...

been another 10 days since i last posted. have heard nothing from LDD, have not received any emails for updates either. it would be nice to at least get some kind of idea how things are progessing.

Well, it's been a month since LDD's last posting. Has anyone heard anything from him? Reading his post, he had said all the boxes were built and he was just waiting on the speakers. I would like to know what's going on if possible.

Heard/received nothing either. Been 9 weeks since I sent payment, and I was the 5th person needed to complete the "group". I've emailed him, but received no response.

I don't know, but I am sorely disappointed. I don't mind waiting for quality items, with that being said, the York brackets were about the same price and we get regular updates on that. This has just sort of vanished. I am wishing I knew someone in that area that might be able to go visit him and see what's the deal.

I am thinking we all just got hosed at this point.

Does anyone know if Paypal could help somehow? At least to get his contact information. I'll contact Amex as well to see if they could help since I used Amex to fund the Paypal payment.

I also PM'ed Adam B who originally was trying to organize this group buy to see if he has LDD's (Steve Thomas) phone number.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

paypal is about as helpful as ebay...which is squat since ebay owns paypal. i think the best option is to either call him at one of the numbers listed on the extremeremarketing.com website or find a fellow list member that lives in that area to possibly contact him. Maybe something happened to his family, or some other tragedy. Things do happen, but it doesnt take but a moment to drop an email to one of us to let the others know whats going on.

called extreme remarketing today...i was told he was not in. left my name and phone number. perhaps that will work in relighting the fire and either get our speakerboxes done or refund our money. i am sure we could all use the money in these trying times for other uses, i know i could. if i hear back from him, i will keep you guys informed. maybe if all the other people that ordered & paid for the boxes can call him, we might get somewhere. you can get the phone number from extremeremarketing.com

I don't think so So-Cal. I believe he either owns/runs a used car sales place, or as we now know them, pre owned vehicles...lol. But, who knows, maybe he does real estate on the side.

called extreme remarketing again this morning. was told again that he was not in. was asked what this was regarding, said that it was for some speakerboxes. left my name and number. i am getting a sinking feeling on this. has anyone else had any better luck than myself? im wondering if the old saying, the squeaky wheel gets the grease will work in this situation. if we complain enough, perhaps we will all get either our boxes or our money back. one can hope.

Steve,

It would have been nice if you could have at least posted something. As for emailing/phoning you, we have. None of us has yet to recieve a return email or phone call. With this being said, I for one, I would like a refund of my money. I will email you shortly and request this by email as well. Perhaps if the communication had been a bit better I might feel different or be willing to wait longer perhaps, but it wasn't and I don't.
