BJ FJ40 Heater Restoration and service Kits 1967-74

This kit will cure your heater issues RHD or LHD
  1. Poor circulation of air due to 40 years of unfiltered air that has filled the heater core not allowing air to pass through and thermal transfer.
  2. Actuator door will not stay in the correct position.
  3. Actuator door foam eroded away and no longer making a good seal.
Your core most likely is good, just needs to be cleaned, I mean the outside and in.

Once removed.
  1. Strip all the foam from the four sides
  2. Soak in water/CLR mix for a few hours
  3. With HP nozzle spray out all the dust, hair and foam from bottom till clean and you can see through it.
  4. With garden hose throughly flush the inside and dry.
Auto Zone will order you a core through Ready Aire P/N 399306 if you need one.

You will have heat like you always wanted but never thought you could.

You will however need to purchase a 3M or similar adhesive for gluing the foam to the core and door.

See the thread heater rebuild for dummies here http://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.p...er+restoration for tips and please post yours up as well.

Here are some pics from tear down to assembly http://www.fototime.com/users/tactic...ers%20Restored

Please go to my eBay store and offer Mud price of $21.00 and it is yours. (see my sig line below)
