and also if nothing works open this file with notepad. and tell me or post what it says . the file is in the same folder just below the Gcdrom file also labeled GCDROM all caps . it should look something like this your CDROM will probably say D added pics see pics if it doesn't work you will have to delete it all .
maybe clean your computer . with a cleaning program ,such as cleanup! 4.52
it is free .or a registry cleaner if you have one .not usually necessary but it might help also the video is a little old now .i have figure out it is easier to do
the extraction to C:drive first and then just go back and run the EPC setup after and it will tell you it is already installed .do you want to upgrade just say yes and all is usually good to go .

there also could be an issue of you might have a copy of my older disc and i made a mistake . when you unrar everything does it show the three folders TMCEPCW2 ,TMCMSTW2,TMCTMPW2 ,or does it say HARD DRIVE FOLDER . if it happensd to say hard drive folder you need to move the the folders inside it out onto your C;drive directly. added pics your C:drive should look like pic 1 not like pic 2 wow IH8mud is cropping my pictures even smaller not sure if you can see this very well

It loads when I click directly on the .EXE but I have the same error when attempting to load the catalogues.

I have those three folders sitting in the root of C:, which is also where I have WinXP installed.

If no easy fix comes to mind, I wouldn't be surprised if the registry is polluted with previous instances of this program. I'll try to install it again here in a couple of months after I finish my periodic XP wipe and re-install and then get back to you if it still doesn't work.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers,
Jon

looks like you only have the euro and US info in that file . maybe the extraction is corrupt this bit highlight in red has incomplete info . it should be

ECMSTALL=EU:C,GR:C,US:C,JP:C

you could try editing it to be correct. you might try cleaning the disc it might be dirty , did any errors pop up while extracting .?

Winrar was used; the files were extracted from the same hard drive folder that was previously used on the successful installation. I'll try it again in a few months after I format and reload XP; there have been quite a few installations and removals of various programs since I last had this EPC up and running and I'm sure the registry could stand to be cleaner. Thank you for the tech support thus far. I will check back in a few months if it doesn't work on a clean computer.

Good to know... I hope Win 7 works as well as advertised, too.
