I read the "making of" thread some time ago(trying to avoid re-reading it), Just wondering if this is a '95 and up MAF unit only?
Thanks

This is for 95+ 80s and I'm working on getting something into production. I'll post up here as soon and I have the first order of 10 pieces placed.
Sorry for the delay.

No sweat, Rick. This kind of custom work is so appreciated, just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed out

I've got the initial order level but am just finalizing things. I should have some concrete news soon.
My suggestion is to subscribe to this thread and when I make the announcement here you will be automatically notified.
No worries about missing out as I'll make enough so anyone who wants one will get one.

Available
The plastic housing wasn't working out very well and I had to abandon it.
However during that time my original shop investigated using a CNC service and I'm happy to say I will be able to offer aluminum housings at the plastic price.
To get that price I had to order 20 pieces which I did and have them in my possession. I waited until now so I could be sure that everything was correct.
So the aluminum housing is $195.00 + $15.00 S&H for a total of $210.00. If shipping to Canada please add $10.00 and expect delays going through customs.
Because of this new process I was able to make a small change in the design to further improve the air flow. Attached is a pic of the new housing which looks like the old ones.
Please don't e-mail/PM me about availability as I'll order more if need be and everyone will have a chance to get one.
I ordered the wrong O-rings by mistake and the correct ones are on their way so there might be a day or so delay in shipping.

What comes with this set up?
Do bolts, etc. come with this or is everything in truck re-usable on install of this and the upgraded mass air sensor?
Thanks I'll be placing an order soon!

Everything is provided except the new style sensor, that you will have to provide.
The install takes about 10 minutes and does reuse the 4 M6 mounting bolts.

One hour after receipt of my new sensor from ebay, the LT PMAFH is installed. A little confusion regarding the removal of the pins from the connector that a second set if eyes (22 year old step daugher) figured out, but otherwise a smooth install.
Thanks Rick, excellent product!!

My install went smoothly (I practised on a spare MAF connector at work beforehand). The housing is a thing of beauty, and everything fit together like a glove (even given how tired I was after a weekend of paddling). Hopefully this weekend (and another paddling road trip) will give me some drive time to check this thing out!
