That doesn’t even make any sense. Why would you purposefully tune a car door to sound like a tin can? That doesn’t inspire confidence in what you are buying.
They cut weight from the door and as a result, it simply does not have a nice thud anymore.
Look at it this way, if Toyota had offered the GX460 with a slightly detuned 200/LX570 drivetrain - 5.7, AB60F, JF Series 6 pin transfer case, and big axles front/rear, the cruiser community would probably have lost it’s fric’n mind scrambling to...
Just watch the Top Gear review honestly I like the looks with the round lights. And those seats look pretty nice. Well can't wait to see them on the streets and test drive one
I use the roof rack for my surf rods. I've had sunroof drains clog and cause electrical problems. I've had sunroof hardware rust. I'd much rather not have a sunroof, but I realize that I'm in the minority on that.
In my opinion the 250 (not the GX) is best looking new Land Cruiser in the US market since the 62.
The 80 burst onto the scene as a... Bubble. A weird, awkward overreach, like a newly-divorced mom's grand entrance at the bar. Toyota...
Someone wants a buyback over this? 😂
Goodness, gracious. Some folks need to learn how to use the trip odometer -- I admit that it is complicated. After all, you have to push a button in and, wait for it, hold it for a few seconds.
What is with the forum trying to say the 250 is comparable to the 300? Where do you think they cut 800 lbs. of weight while also adding a 200 lb. battery to the package? They cut the weight in the underside components. That’s why this thing can...
It seems every thread devolves into "just buy a 200". We're in the 250 forum. The 200 has been out for years. If I wanted a 200, I would buy a 200. I'm sure the same goes for most of the others browsing here.
just an FYI- the 250 is built on the 300 platform which is superior to the 200 platform. So we all might want to wait til its actually out- and see what its all about before calling it a complete disappointment???? And given its coming in...
Dude, put down the extra shot of espresso and red bull.
I wouldn't be surprised if they offered the auxiliary tank as an aftermarket add-on (see the list of add-ons you can get through Lexus...way longer than I expected with a lot of it not...
Unpopular opinion: I think it'll follow the trajectory of the Gladiator truck - market premiums for a few months maybe a year and then stack up on lots and sell under MSRP from then out. I'm not sure the value proposition is there compared to a...
It’s not the wheelbase in question, it’s the fact that they robbed interior space to make wider fender flares where you effectively get the same outer dimensions as the 200 series, but way less interior space. Just look at the center console...
