When I bought mine years ago I drove about 4 hours to test drive and check it in-person. It was a nice example completely stock with lockers. Coming from a jeep rubicon years earlier I knew I wanted it to have lockers. Was worth the trip/time to...
I believe this is a diesel engine and the usual suspected oil leaks for the 1fzfe won't apply here. I'm not versed in the 1hd or any diesels from land cruisers so I'm not much help. Sorry.
If it was running way too rich then the cylinder walls could have been washed down from oil which could either burn them up or cause low compression, I believe.
The head needs to come off to really know what's wrong, IMO. Or at the very least...
OK good. I wasn't going to order the center caps when I ordered the wheels by I'll try them to see if they'll fit. They aren't expensive, so if they don't work it's not that big of a deal.
Yeah that's a perfect fit with the -12 offset. Do you have any rubbing at all on the flares? I wouldn't think so since it really doesn't poke out much further than stock wheels. Look great!

It's a liquid polymer that restores rubber elasticity. It will not fix a seal that is damaged/cracked with missing pieces. If the seal is hardened and has shrinkage it should soften it back up enough to seal. Hoses that are leaking are probably...
Stopped my PS leak at the rear seal. I'm still going to replace the pump but this has bought me time until the weather warms. At $25 I figured I'd give it a shot and it worked wonderfully.
Just an FYI I ordered one of these wheels to check fitment. Fit fine on the front and rear, clearing both calipers with room to spare. I'll be ordering the other four soon.
Got that sucker out. Shaft still spun freely so I'm not sure what's up with it. I've got a new one I've had for years to replace it and I'll repair this one for a spare later. Thanks for all the help.
Forgot to send that last post. Anyway I have the sensor and inspection plate removed. Had my wife (gotta love country women) run the switch to see if anything moved, no dice. Looks like the rod is seized inplace. So you are saying to remove the...
