Wow! How tight was the filter. All that is needed is one grunt pass tight.

Ha. Blood & sweat in it for sure. I’ve wrenched nearly every bolt on this thing for the 24 years I’ve had it, along with a few British sports cars that require you to dislocate your thumb to get to certain bolts, along with all my motorcycles...
This sucker really did not want to come off. My 15 minute oil change turned into a full morning of cursing at this bugger. Who makes an oil filter relocation kit? Not the little 90º bend guy, but something to put it in a more accessible spot?
Not mine but that looks like a manifold with a gauge and an air chuck in it, with a brass plug in it to keep dirt out. I did something similar in my QPM build.
Front / rear diff and transfer case fluid change. Also installed new 10mm Allen head drain and fill plugs. Coolant/heater hoses on the way from Ourisman
While pulling off the stock arms and caster plates for DVS 4's, I also finally got to the bottom of my wandering dog symptoms and random shimmy. The rear bushings are toast, fronts prob too but not visibly.
BTW the arms are in the classifieds...
Off my 1996 FZJ80. Front 4 bushings are ok, rear are cooked. I don't need them as I am running DVS arms. Located in Los Angeles area - obviously local pickup would be easier than shipping, but I do still have the DVS box if buyer wants to pay...
