Get west as fast as possible to NM. Take I-40 to ABQ, then down to Socorro, then to Magdalena, then to Pie Town. Continue into AZ, then head north through Navajo country into Southern Utard. Then take Rt. 50 all the way across NV to CA to Ice...

I have taken I 10. I have taken I 20. I have taken I 40. And I have taken I 80. I like I40 to Kingman AZ and then past Vegas all the way past Tonopah NV and hit 80 from above there and head into Tahoe. But then again I love the Tonopah NV area.

2028 for me. Rigs not ready this year and next year is our big 20 year wedding anniversary trip to do some offloading in Mongolia plus a week at KOH. Do want to do it so it's on the calendar for 2028 already.
