I removed the original seat sliders and welded flat plates on the original bars then mounted an aftermarket low profile slider to that. Lowered the seat some and got me 6” more legroom. Kept the tool box functional too but have to pull the seat...
Looks like a simple solution to mounting new seats in an early tub with a tool box. My stock seats in my ‘67 really limit how long I can stay behind the wheel.

Got lots of odds and ends done this weekend. Mounted the front bumper, installed all the hood stuff. Built a cross member for new shock mounts. And rolled it outside for some pictures in the sun.
