“Bad Sellers” section should be front and center IMO in this day and age with so many scams going on. Otherwise, looks cool!

Has anyone ever documented a wiring harness by connector? I have the FSM and the wiring diagram for my 40 but when I am inside the dash and chasing a problem I would appreciate checking off the connectors

I am using the FSM schematic and trying to follow power and grounds. I've purchased lots of connectors and assorted goodies from coolerman.

The power routes through the hazard switch and is constant. But the hazards come on but only blink once before staying on. And it looks like the wipers are activated by the ground.

I don't think it should have power either. And my hazard lights come on but blink once and then just stay on. All four corner lights are on. I'm using one of the wiper motor bolts for a ground.

Another new electrical problem. Still chasing a gremlin. Now my wipers don't work. New wiper motor from City racer and a new OEM wiper switch. Fuse is good and the wiring harness is good. So now I take my multimeter and have 12 volts at all four...

Yeah, I wish I had something more that could help, but the microfiche only shows the general wiper assembly and no motor internal parts or details for the '77.

This might be a long shot but while trying to clean and inspect my 77 wiper motor I took it apart to check the brushes and generally clean it out and when I watched the 40 Channel video I realized that I had lost the two ball bearings that used...

Thanks, I will do it again. I noticed that it was the same fuse and checked it out but will be more meticulous this time.

I have the FSM and the schematic and a multi meter. I have a box My ammeter works and my cruiser runs but I don't have fuel oil pressure or temperature

I used a multi meter and I have the FSM. I removed the fuse box and cleaned it up on both sides. I tried to detect voltage on the plug at the wire at the plug but had no luck so I thought I was doing something wrong. I have voltage at every spot...

I have a 77 FJ40 that has never given me any electrical issues until now. I have some of it sorted out but don't have any gauges. I have checked fuses and grounds but not sure how to check the plug into the gauge cluster. Any tips? Wiring looks...

Has anyone put a power window in their 40? Asking for my dog. He's having trouble winding down his window and rolling it up when the rain hits. It's a 77
