This is where the EPS shines on the 1972+ 40s. No engine mods.
Stop guessing and call, Cruiser Outfitters or Valley Hybrids. They’ll get you set right up.
What kind of relay, OEM or the new-fangled black plastic box with 4 or 5 tabs?
Horn wiring is funny because the steering wheel buttons supply ground to the relay, not hot. It took me a minute to figger out how to do it.
1/8BSPT(tapered).
It's the same switch for all models listed from 1970 to 1980 with tandem master cylinders.
Single master cylinders didn't need one; you learn it has failed when the pedal goes to the floor...;)
I've been living with a similar issue - a slight bead of RTV on the crush washer (both sides) will solve your issue. The problem is with the pan - it was dinged or distorted somehow.

Had the swb 45 towed from my house down to my shop for the final leg of my ownership. I didn’t feel like taking a chance on the brakes since it has been sitting for basically a decade. I will be rebuilding the entire brake system over the next...
One of the smoothest running ‘78s I ever worked on had compression numbers like yours. The question is: How does it RUN?
Guy brings me his ‘78 back in about ‘95 to work on it and didn’t think to bring me a deposit! I agree to take the truck and...
