I decided to try and clean my coolant overflow tank since I was replacing a battery tray. Couldn't get the inside clean, so I decided to make my own tool. Cut a bunch of strands off an old mop, taped them to a 1/2 drill bit, and used a little...
Judging from the later model column support and firewall brace with the single circuit master, it looks to be another offshore rig.
IIRC, that Pollux orange color was only used in 73 and 74.
This came by the shop the other day for a second opinion (from another local shop) for what they thought (“needs a transmission rebuild, 1st gear synchronizer is gone, can’t get it into 1st gear!”),

Welcome to the club!
Your 77 looks good to me just as it is, especially compared to mine.
I'd suggest having some fun driving, using, dreaming, etc. for a while. See what you like, what you want changed. And enjoy the random conversations with...
I doubt Toyota ever intended these vehicles to be around more than twenty years if used by average working blokes in demanding conditions. Maybe not even ten.
Body mount kits finally ready to head out! :) A big thank you to those who supported this fun project. We will have an extra set available of "just the hardware" and a "full kit" if anyone is interested.
