FWIW the new Classifieds is WAY too busy with the photos especially. The previous version was very easy to scan through then click on what you might be interested in, the new version hurts my brain.
The new version IMHO looks like it was...
Code 51, locked/stuck ABS motor has a known cause, rust inside the motor/armature case. Others have opened up the ABS motor and cleaned it out, removed the rust and the ABS started working again.
No braking: does that mean the brake pedal goes...
Have you replaced the fan clutch ever? That could be a likely culprit and you will be taking it off to replace the water pump now is a good time to replace they are cheep, a aisin blue hub is the way to go. If you want to get temps under control...
From post #21 in the thread/link above/below:
@OGBeno :
"Shorter 80 series birf (4/1994 and earlier: PN: 43405-60120)= 238.5mm
Longer 80 series birf (4/1994 and...
It appears you have the longer CV joint (246.5mm) so it's likely that the stub shaft of your CV joints need a second groove for the snap ring machined into the shaft.

Looking at Christo's website, what he's doing is using the OEM headlight harness as a logic trigger for the 2 relays that draw power directly from the battery positive.
So a failure on all 4 bulbs using his harness could be on the passenger side...
There are other better parts experts in here, but in my experience they draw it like that because it's not a separate part. I'll bet you need to buy the cooler to get those hoses.
Edit: Found this photo of the part, with hoses.
i'm a proud papa, no lie. She enlisted her mom's help (lives a mile down the street) to come and help tear the top end down for a HG project on her 3rd gen Runner last year. Oh yeah, she built the bumpers on her rig at my house two years ago...
I did it cheap. I took off bumpers and grille and wipers. They took off flares and taped everything else. Lights all stayed in as did door handles (they wanted a lot to remove those ). Mine look like crap and I need to figure out a good way to...
Did the shop remove the fender flares and replace them for that price or did you do that? Same question for the door handles, grill, headlamps, tail lamps, side marker lamps, etc?
For around the radiator ie: between the radiator and the body/radiator supports: IME closed cell neoprene foam HVAC/AC weatherstripping works well, found at any hardware store. You'll need to experiment with various sizes to see which fits...
"I have the gearwrench scrapers"
@rfakhrai :
Look closer at the webpage in the link above and the photos; the Super Scraper has a sharp carbide edge, much different compared
to standard steel scrapers.

i just did this project and purchased the same unit from City Racer as well.
I'd suggest going with an OEM unit because the old OEM unit will come out without lifting the engine up. A new OEM unit will go in the same way, but the one from City...
A carbide edged scraper works well to remove old gasket material and light surface corrosion if you use it correctly ie: keep it at a very shallow angle to the block surface. IME one method is to pull backwards across the surface, but still...
I bought a factory system that was made for a carbureted truck. Cut in a cat and installed O2 sensors. The main reason besides cost, is the exhaust travels over the frame.
Attached is the custom O2 bungs.
Went and had the inspection done today. It failed with flying colors.
The failure was, unsurprisingly, due to the rust. It has compromised both rear quarters to the point the inspector considers it structurally unsound without complete...
Likely the welding machine you have is up to the task but more important are your welding skills. Flux core is often not pretty (beads) but it can make a solid weld IME but then I'm barely a 1/4 :banana: welder so better to wait for someone who...
Here is some more pictures of the 80-series pickup. We did all the work on this, the chop, metal work and body work. The cab corners are hand formed on a sand bag with a mallet, English wheel and planishing hammer. We also did the hood which is a...
Yeah, I'm not at the point of needing a speedi sleeve - I'm basically trying to see if I can prevent creating wear marks by utilising a labyrinth/cartridge type oil seal. i.e. prevention is better than cure etc etc...
Came to say this I keep a piece handy just for oil filters. On my last one I even got some tape backed sand paper and wrapped the filter with it. Plenty of grip to loosen by hand
