I’ve had a v8 in mine for almost 30 years love it
Makes these rigs so much more fun drive and takes away that old slow tractor feel but it has to be done right or you will just have one big headache after another.

The 35013 has a 35mm ID and is made for the split t-case. Your shaft is a 1-pc case output so you need this...
This is 4x4Labs Saginaw kit. Check their pics on this link. That’s the bottom of the frame.

Yes that little are just pops out. I ran my 24v wiper motor on 12 volts for years. lol they were slow. Then swapped it out for a 12v one and wipers where awesome haha
1978 BJ40 converted to 12v. Bought it with no drivetrain so swapped in a 350.
I pulled a brand new one out of the box and they ship with the piston at the edge of the bore. I think I just threw it in there and never thought to force it to the bottom. I went for a drive and it drove great. I'll check a few things and...
I didn’t reach out to any of the snow wheelers - but Steve at EBI has a bell housing so that gets me on my way - got the last Orion Advance Adapters had in stock now to find a fly wheel and clutch.
Nice sometimes you have to do it that way to make sure the piston is fully retracted. Tighten the push rod up as fsr as it will go and then back it off and set the gap. I would put a bigger return spring on it also maybe yours is to week, you...
Here is what has been working on my junk. The bracket does flex a bit. Using Inner hole on the fork and mine doesn’t line up that good either but I’ve been using it like this for 20 years
,
The inner one does more throw. And my pedal hits the floor.
I’ve never looked under the rubber boot to see what mine is doing. I too would build a new mounting bracket straighter and also use a longer pushrod. Unbolt it and move it back and...
I haven't checked with Steve yet - Dan only had the old style plate adapter set up - which I currently have as well - but I was hoping for the whole set up with fly wheel and clutch with slave on the passenger side. I am not new to Cruisers but...
This is one from back in the day 22 years ago. I owned this for 11 years and sold it 20 years ago with the help of those on BC 4 x 4. I finally found it in Kitamat last year and have got it painted and back on its Old school tire and wheel...
Cool build I miss my super swampers. I think I’ll be purchasing them again next time I buy tires.
Pic of when I was putting my junk back together years ago.
I used the old plate adapter also worked fine for me then I just switched it all out...
Link to video I don’t see. Hmm odd I’ve only blown one slave in 25 years. On my v8 swap. Sm465. I use 1978 master and slave. Do you have a return spring on your pedal also.
Maybe you have a partially collapsed rubber hose holding pressure then...
Did ya check with Steve at EBI cruisers in Port Coquitlam he may have a used adapter bellhousing laying around. I could use an Orion also. 😁 Or Dan MARTZ in Kamloops.he has some spare parts.
That heater hose will get worse if you lower it. I wouldn’t bother removing it. they did a decent job I run a 3 inch body lift in mine. I’m too lazy to remove mine. . Nice looking rig. 😁🤷♂️.
