Have you pulled the door sill trim yet to look for evidence of water in the rocker panels? Very common issue and very easy to inspect. I can dig up a how-to video if you need. Edit:

The weakest link is the cooling system. The temp gauge on the dash will not give any notification until it’s too late. Something like a scangage to monitor and give an alarm to high temps would help immensely.

Ok swapped them and I didnt check the fluid level before but it was low/ empty once I swapped them. Filled the fluid. Feels like a new car.

I went from a 14 LX with 150 k miles to an 18 with 50 k miles. There is a difference in ride quality.

I have the same bleeding shock issue with 50 k miles on an 18. There is no apparent ride change and I lift and lower it all the time. One thing I did was add AHC fluid to the reservoir. Helps me sleep at night.😬

That’s minor weepage and can likely go another 30-50k miles with no issues (if not longer). AHC has a high fluid volume, so just make sure to keep an eye on the fluid level and periodically check the shocks to ensure an actual leak (dripping) is...

Putting some closure on this: 5.7 Tundra engine swapped in. All oil leaks fixed. Tundra engine does not have low oil sensor that the LC engine has/had. Not a problem. Approx 600 miles on the replacement engine now. All is good so far.......
