BIG UPDATE
I Finally got a good uz to use and got to re-sealing it along with a new water pump and timing belt. Also got the 100 series oil pan installed.
The nice thing about de-smogging is that it's a lot easier than re-smogging. You may have one or two semi-useful features hiding somewhere in that spaghetti monster, probably not. I may have gone a little far with my de-smog, leaving only a vac...
For those of you who haven't seen this. Fred Williams of Dirt Every Day has a series of videos where he sort of restores and tries to fix (so far), a barn-find FJ62 parked for 10 years or so. Series is a little slow, but interesting. Worth a...
Should a few ready to go shortly. Again its a direct fit and an improvement over the hard to find OE serpentine condenser. If you are running a OE compressor (I have these as well) with an OE style drier in the stock location, this kit will work...
@John McVicker I don’t have personal experience with this, but after some googling and reading other posts it sounds like the mechanisms are physically different by design. In short, no they can’t be swapped side to side.
Update: I will be out of town 5/1-5/3 and again 5/6-5/13.
I'll leave the website open, but I have the out-of-town info on a banner at the top of the web page so people can order (or not) accordingly. Any orders that come in during that time will...
Late in following up, but wanted to post that Jim graciously offered his time and expertise to methodically help troubleshoot the install of the fusible link replacement kit. Ultimately, we concluded that my truck had some non-standard wiring. I...

I swapped the rear springs L<-->R, with and without the bottom 2 leaves, and without the shocks. Each time, I drove around the block then measured from the ground to the wheel well in line with the center of the axel.
Before, left...
Pictures of my pedals, 05/84 FJ60. Just line up the pedal with the stop bolt on the floor. Seems like there might be some wiggle room left and right though.
Just checked on my 05/84 FJ60 and it goes to the ground bolt for the battery tray. Runs underneath the AC hoses in the loom and then under the diagonal cross support and then turns up, grounded.
Hey all,
I've put together a free archive of Toyota Land Cruiser factory service manuals and wanted to share it with the 60 series community here, I hope it helps you track down that diagram or specification you've been searching for. The site...
@cruisermatt was right about that. I blew up the driver side birf today trying to drive up a stump on our property and flex out my truck. It took about 2.5 hours to get it swapped out and everything cleaned up. I installed an unknown birf and...
The cap for my reservoir is broken and the tank is going to break if I look at it hard enough. I’ve been checking out replacements, average price is $100 for just the res. Only cap I found was through a person well known on this forum and who I...
