I paid $100 to mount and balance 4 Swampers at a small place in Melrose and then Town Fair did a set for free.
Let all chip in for this.

John, you don't mind keeping at your place, right?

Got the job! What a relief. Working the same field I did in the Navy, working on similar equipment, probably made by the same vendors. Late 70s electronic equipment, detectors and sensors which operate, monitor, and protect a nuclear reactor.
I am now seeing the logic of not driving tanks for a living. That was my original choice because I wanted to blow --it up, but the recruiter thought my scores were too high for that. I am sure my war stories would be a whole lot better at the VFW if I had been a tank driver during two desert conflicts, but in all my job searches, I couldn't find a civilian position for tank driver.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the Cruiser karma and good thoughts. This takes a big load off my shoulders and it's good to know we'll be sticking around NH for awhile longer.

I eneded up picking up a used tire Machine for $100 off Craigslist. Mounted the 4 tires so I am already up to the $40 now I just need to do 6 more tires to make it worth it.

I have eight tires I need dismounted off of 4 and 5 lug VW bug wheels for the baja project. 4 to sell, 4 to keep. I should just buy a tire machine. Hopefully a 12 pack will cover it at a friends shop.

Charge $10 per tire and you'll be a millionaire in no time

Maybe I will get drunk and let my neigbor use it. He lost two fingers already.
I'm waiting for the bar to pop up and hit me in the face when I'm not paying attention.
On the second tire I break down I find fix-a-flat inside.

High School
Ian was cast in the lead of the school musical this year.
They will perform "The Wedding Singer" .
He gets to act, sing and play guitar, he's floating around on
a cloud right now!

Left town for a week and had asked 10 days ago for deeper info on the MAACO location I have an offer in on. I've had an odd feeling about the whole deal as of late. I sent a detailed list of info needed and clarification on some of the income claims they have in their paperwork. haven't seen anything and haven't heard a peep from them. I've caught them in some inconsistent details in the last month or so. Gonna back out and wait for another to come up on the block. Unfortunately all paint jobs needed will have to wait a little while. Going with my gut and my gut tells me something is very wrong.
Will start anew on Monday....
