John I am pretty much a novice at lifts and probably don't know what I am talking about but is there a way you can get that diff to angle up a little more. I know with non SOA you can use shims but I know nothing about SOA. Just curious. Looks awesome.

how much lift can you put before you have to correct for driveshaft angles?

For a regular leafspring lift it is good to do it for all. I have shims on my 2 1/2 and 4 inch lifts.

The rear is fine I have only noticed it unlock a few times, but no tire chirping or anything else during parking and tight turns. The front locks and is not fun to steer on the road (just seeing how it acts) but in the dirt its alot better, I will just use 4WD off roading anyway.

Finally rebuilt the power steering pump with a Toyota rebuild kit. Nothing to hard just had to get some picks to remove the first snap ring and the rest slipped out easily and just followed the directions.

We be jammin now. Installed some road master (high dollar) 6 1/2", three way speakers. It took some metal cutting and self-tapping screws to place them out of the way of the folding seats, but now I can hear them a little easier with the top off.

Most new speakers are made of some type of poly material which makes them water resistant. They only cost me twenty bucks so they are not that expensive to replace.

Looking nice . Sicily Island will be a great place to try them out. Sorry about not being able to lend a hand with them it just seems like work always get busy on the weekend.
Just don't let them turn out like Larry's 1st set.Does this mean no more need for the milk create ?

Albert is on a roll today. Let me say that if this quote means you needed a milk crate to get in it and I got my hands on that pic... you'd be toast.
Sweet sliders tho bud.

Looks good John and so true my first set failed the test and broke at the welds Scott hasn't seen your wife trying to get in the runner without the crate yet. I thought you'd trade the crate and rope for a hydraulic slider on her side

Nice work John. Since my factory running boards held up so well at the SCC I don't think I will need any in the near future.
I may need some for my keyboard though.

Thanks Mike, the fog has our flights backed up so I don't know when I will be home. Hopefully for the weekend though.
