Truck work

well here goes, as most of ya'll know i had to do some work to my truck(the cam seals are spinning with the cam and leaking), so i am in the process of changing the cam seals, timing belt and components. also while i had the front cover off, it was suggested that i change the water pump so im changing that also.

i figured while i had the truck in the shop i would fix my brakes since they would only grab after you pumped them once, and my horn and washer pump.

well i discovered that my steering column had a lot of corrosion on the wires, so all that had to be changed also.

and the shop called and my new rear bumper is ready to be fitted and bolted up.

so i will be posting pics and keeping everyone up to date on the progress.

any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Once you change the oil pressure sending unit on the engine to work with the new guage cluster we'll need to see pictures

And what the rest of the truck looks like

Back bumper welded to frame, front end cut off with a cutting torch. The guy was ready to start tubing out the front end and lost interest in it.High jack of thread over.

i could use some of the screws that hold the bottom panel to the dash. (thats the knee panel) all of mine but one is missing.

and if the cup holder has the springs on the side i need that too(the whole cup holder is easier than just he springs.)

I'd change the diff oil if it hasn't already been done and rub down the CV Shaft boots real good with grease to keep them from cracking and splitting. They may make something for it now but that always worked for me being the water and mud all the time. At least you'll know the front end is all good.
