Does anyone know locality where to get new shock bushings? I need them to fit some Dostech shocks on the Toyota.

Lafayette Performance on Johnston St did sell Dostech shocks at one time they may have them or be able to get them for you. Ask for John he's a sharp guy and will be able to tell you off hand. Danny will have to look it up or will tell you he don't have them because he don't feel like looking. I can pick them up and get them to you if it'll help just let me know.

Larry, YES It would be nice for you to run the bushing down for me. I'll pull the shocks and the bolt and drop them off at the house after work one day this week. Thanks

I did those on my FJCruiser. The UCAs are a pain in the ass to put on by yourself. I am in town today and tomorrow, can give you a hand if you want. I'll PM you my number.

Did you get them on Nick? post up!
Hey a question on Flat Towing. I think I am going to go that route instead of getting a trailer, much cheaper, lighter and I really have nowhere to store a trailer at my house. Anyone have advice on this/ I know Cole and Eric used tow bars this summer at Sicily island. I think I will need a new bumper for the 40 (has a round pipe bumper now).

Hey man i got them on, just spend the last two days under my truck, lol. Yes, those UCA's are very hard to put in, and so is tryuing to take the old ball joint out and put the new slug adapter in its place. I took mine to Paul Kegley and he pressed them in for me. Today im adjusting the coilovers and ridding arond so they settle some more and i can go get my new tires and allignment. I'll post up some pics real soon.

I'll be doing the same Brian I was going to buy a dolley after I sold my trailer to Matt. It wasn't about the space but rather it would be too much for the 80 to pull the 40 on the trailer loaded. Eric had good success with the tow bar but I had one on my first 40 and it never worked for me. The tires would lock up when you tried to take a turn and was dangerous. I'm going to try again. Eric bought his tow bar off of Ebay so I'll look there and see what Utec down the road has.

Between 23 - 25. I think the 100 holds maybe a gallon more. I filled up both gas lovers this weekend for 1.99 and today it drops to 1.87. Grandfather says its 1.46 in NO I hope we see that I'll fill every gas can in the shop.

Gotcha. I read somewhere that said it was 23. something. I also read that they kept the 62, 80, 100 in that 25 gallon range.

My manual (glove box) says 25.1 but I kinda find that hard to believe because if my needle is VERY low and the light has been on for some time it only takes around 23 gallons. Maybe sludge in the tank, who knows. 79-84 40 takes 21.5 gallons. 60 takes 23.7. When I used to have my old 40 (1971) I hated having to fill up all the time with a 15.? gallon tank all the time. Funny the old 40's were made that way when gas is/was so hard to find in third world countries.
