Awesome Josh...you inspire me....I'm gonna get me something just to tear to pieces...I'm thinking an old rusted out illegal BJ70 (meaning it doesn't have to be road-worthy...turbo diesel or 1FZ-FE)....roll cage all around, locked all around, and lowest gears available...that'll get me into something gnarly and break something for sure....I'm jealous.

was ridin with my friends in a pasture in my new (to me) Tacoma. wasnt interested in getting stuck, just wanted to see how it handled in 4x4, which was horrible with ABS enabled. Slid right into a ditch.

so my friends decided to spray the truck.

we've all had those times, whats good is you can look back and laugh about it now. Was that before lift and tires. My 95 Taco was like that with the factory street tread 31's I drug the belly in the soft stuff and did't have an aggresive tire to pull me out. By the second week its was lifted and had 33's on it. Problem resolved. I never took a stock photo of it but it looked like the million others so I guess there was not point.

I ain't THAT short...

Well, I just didn't know where to put this but thought that some would appreciate it.

I have no pics but some know that a pooch frequented my rig and the smell of him/her lingers a bit. So much so that I put in 3-4 pine tree scent thingys. Now it smells like a dog at Christmas time. So I brought the rig to get the carpet shampoo'd. They, of course, moved the seats all the way up to vaccuum.

... that was it. The DS seat got stuck all the way forward. There was NO getting into it much less driving it home. Had to call the wife to come drive it home b/c my big a$$ 6'6" frame wasn't fitting. Little embarrasing to call the to drive your rig home.

...but it smells good!

How did you get out ? You need a lift on that truck.

In your situation it probably wouldn't have helped but if you slightly apply your emergency brake you can trick that driver side rear tire to spin.(kinda works like a locker) It has helped me in the past.

Maybe it wasn't that bad as the picture looks but I was thinking it a good thing you bottomed out drivers side if it didn't and your front tire slips in that soft hole it could have flopped you.

Side note: it looks like you got all the bugs out from the water and its running good.

yep truck is running pretty well, went back to the area where i actually sunk it, didnt sink it in that spot but across the way, but that iwas the kind of muck i was in during the hurricane. Kids said they have never seen anyone make it though the spot i made it through. So it kinda boosted self confidence which led to this. I could still drive forward but That was changing flipping and damaging door and underpanel damage.

I have a 3 inch OME lift with extended length shocks.... not nearly enough droop :/

We took him out on the trail first riding to the top of the powerlines across the street. In parts you had to hug the MTN for the drop off on the pass side and there were several good climbs. I'm sure that didn't help

Don't sweat it, it happens. Good job wheeling though! Many more adventures to come in that truck.

(but not too many)
