I'm loading now. After you rolled, I took one good shot and then I took off running down the hill to check on you. I tossed the camera to help push you over. I couldn't see you and wasn't sure if you were okay. Had I known you were okay, I would have snapped that pic.

And I apreciate you being there bud Funny thing when I felt myself going over I started to hollar Marty grab the camera I couldn't see anyone but the guy directing me into my predicament.

There wasn't any time to yell for it. Larry's roll took a lot longer than that fall down the hill did.

We could have taken pictures but buttons and batteries went flying from the impact, Marty's still using the paperclip.

While I'm a candidate for the thread of shame, I rescued this guy 70 - 80 feet down the trail while he lay against a tree. Worked the 8274 pretty good as did he jerk me around trying to get up the hill with 4 people in his rig. The 8274 defintely got its work out and I guess I managed to put it together ok as it held together.

Yep, thats me being pull the rest of the way by a b**p at least it was a good color. I should have asked one of my boys to give me an anchor point to winch myself up the rest of the way but it didn't go that way I was anxious to get to the top to see what I did to the old girl and see what the hell I fell in.

Not bad considering you were only the third rig to ever attempt that ascent.

I think I could have made it if I got and and walked it to to choose my on line. I'll try it again in Nov and see Maybe by then I'll add a front locker and it won't be an issue. So far the rear has been great but in this case I needed it in the front

You definitely did a great job Larry on all fronts. You Led me thru a really fun ravine just before that one and that was so much fun. I think you exhibited a great deal of humility and kindness and showed us all a great time. You were there for us all and next time I'll pull right up there and yank you out myself....I was parked way back actually planning on going next....

Thanks for the kind words bud I had a blast with you all, big smile This weekend is exactly what I wanted for our group to get a feel for the trail and our rigs as we'll need each other to get out of those sticky situations. The more we get out there and ride the better we'll be as a group helping one another and other along the way. The old girl faired well and getting the first bump out of my system feels better as I knew it would come sooner or later. I need to clean her up and put some armor on her in preparation for the crawl.

Alright, quit all this talk of rolling and being on your side at the SCC. We're gonna get Clutchee to help spot yall. He's a great spotter. We haven't lost anyone yet so be positive! Can't wait! Only a few more weeks.

Later,

Thanks. We're all looking forward to it. Just a little flat footed but we'll follow the Pro's.

I dont have pics but this one is pretty sad. I used to live by the stone energy building on K. Saloom. My back yard was the river. I got a little to close to the river with my FJ-60 and slipped in half way. Had to get pulled out of my own back yard in a cruiser. weak.

I'd think that would be ok if no one else knows, you got a cruiser to pull you out and no one took pics!

No, a tow truck pulled me out. It was a shame my cruiser had to get pulled out. So much for getting stuck on the trail. I couldnt even get to the trail. LOL
