I know my wife would slap me for a comment like that. But still very funny! I will be waiting for the good times ahead. Already put in a vacation request for the 17-19 of Oct.

Also, about the wife comments...nothing can compare to the "Broom Rider" name given to a certain member's bride as we were just forming up. No doubt one of the funniest MUD moments that I"ve experienced.

2004 Chevota Suburban. Thinking about zip tying a 40 bezel to the front to really get the "feel".

Yes, I have a friend I use to race with that hauls cars for the local auction house and when he's not booked for events he helps us out as a favor. His wife also works with me. Last year he did it $200 per rig round trip. He does the mileage and figures the fuel cost adds his hotel room and thats what he charges us divided by 6 or 7. We tipped him $20 per rig for doing it for us and gave him a bunch of FJ swag we got from the trail team. I think he'll actually come ride this year I took him on the last day and didn't scare him Several folks have asked if he would do that for their groups and offered to pay him more than we do but he's said he'll only do this for us. Its a huge perk to have and the folks are in awe when you show up to an event with an 18 wheeler with your club rigs. It would cost me a $200 one way to tow it on my own plus the wear and tear on tow rig and trailer. With the rising diesel cost I'm sure the $200 flew out the window but I think it'll always beat what I can do towing it on my own plus the caravan up with the guys in the 15 pass van was fun.

Welcome John Allen our newest member. Some of you may have met him at the last meeting in his 85 PU. He said he's not a fan of the computer and we might not see him in here but I wanted to mention it anyway
