I can't seem to have more than 2 pics up at one time. I am new to this and dont know what I am doing. I post 2 pics and then try and erase my uploaded pics so I can add some more but they go away from the pre-post. What am I doing wrong?

Ya, know, I'm sure there's an easy answer to your question. The easiest one I came up w/ when I encountered the same issue was to joining www.photobucket.com and link all my pics in. Way easy.

Good luck

Thanks, Cole explained to me because I am a rookie and have to take baby steps. The more posts the more memory. In the future I will be able to have more memory space unless I want to be a silver member. I will sign up with Photo Bucket.

Thanks moomtaz,
I really lucked out with buying this cruiser. It is the "Barn Buy". It sat in a barn in the desert in Cali. I am going to North Carolina in two days to buy a 78 fj 40 that was in someones drive-in basement for 20 years. It has been out on the streets for 3 years with no leaks. It looks totally awesome. We will see. I hope it is the real deal going all that way. Just like that huge hill you want to climb, you never know unless you try.

I am trying. I will photo bucket them. I will also show you pics of a 1981 BJ-40 that I used to own when I worked down there a few years ago. If we could figure out a way to get them past USA EPA and DOT I know where there are a few BJ-40's that are 1984's in sweet condition for 4500 to 6000 US cash. The one that I own now down there cost 2500. and it runs awesome. I have put 15,000 miles on it with zero problems.

Welcome bud, great pics. If you email me the others I'll upload them to our BSLCA account and psot them for you. You have my email address. Great looking 40, you'll fit right in with our group we all share the same sickness and love for these rigs. Shortly after this post you see the offers to buy the BJ's from Costa Rica. We all salivate at the thought of having a diesel 40. Good to see you in here bud.

I am having a little trouble with photo bucket. I will figure it out tomorrow night. Have to get some rest. Let it be known, BJ-40's are the slower than JD tractors but you will save so much on fuel that you can make them cherry! I also have ties with some friends in Australia that have huge ties to the cruiser world. I have spent a lot of time there as well. I had to leave because my mouth was drying out due to my jaw dropping every second on the streets looking at awesome cruisers. Too bad they are all right hand drive. If people are scared of shipping costs, dont be. There is a service called Ro-Ro. It means roll on and roll off. All done in the belly of a ship. No container. I shipped a cruiser to costa rica one time and it cost less than 500 bucks. I have had cruisers sent from Cali. to Louisiana for twice that much. I think I am going to go for the silver package on mud just because the time I have wasted would have been worth the 10 dollars.

You can email me (pscottbx@yahoo.com) or call me and we'll figure the photobucket out. Picasa is also good. You just copy and past the "IMG" address in here.

As far as imports, I'll take two when you have time please You find a rig and I'll take it ... I have to find some room first...or a new

I'll also take a 12HT and a H55F when you down there again...lol.

...serious tho!

I know where there are 2 city blocks full of Bjs in Costa Rica They are all white. Old government rigs. At least 600 maybe more. I will be returning in October or November for business and could point someone in the right direction if they would like to go to Costa Rica. Flights are around $400 to $500. You could also ship containers of 3b motors for real cheap. Containers go from the Port of Limon in Costa Rica to New orleans. $2000 for a 40 foot container. I have used a shipping agent in New Orleans in the past to transport goods to Costa Rica, including my FJ-60 which I drove home after it rutted up Central America.

This is my BJ-40 in Costa Rica. She runs awesome. She is not going to win any beauty comps. I will leave it looking like this except for painting the roof and the bezel white. You dont really want a cherry rig down there for 2 reasons. Mine rubs on the side of the mountain carved roads all the way to the roof and if it looks great it will get stolen. Not bad for $2500. You can see cracked finder other than that it is in good shape. No rust. As I mentioned before I am putting a 4 inch lift and D lockers in the rear. It doesnt have power steering so I am told its a bad idea to put lockers on the front. I will put mud chains in the front. When you pay 2500 mud isnt such a bad idea after all. Amost forgot, no roll bar. Most Costa rican cruisers never came with that option. I am having one made. And the front turn signals are from a 70 series. They still sell new 70's there so most 40's put these on to look newer. It came with the rig. I dont like it. The rubber cones on front and rear bumpers are stock from Toyota. This is a costa rican option that we didnt get. Looks kinda goofy but works good for pushing.

Very nice. Its great to see the clean garage queens but I enjoy seeing them used for what they were intended for. Thanks for sharing the pics. What about the FJ60 I see it peaking out behind the 40 in the pic above.

Larry, should I still post pics of my cruisers at the link you provided for me in this thread? I feel kinda strange throwing up all of these pics. I dont want to seem like a pretentious a**.
