I have no idea if this is really a 'great deal' or not, just passing it along.
I am not affiliated in any way & don't know the seller

"Im selling a 85 toyota 22refi. Great working condition with no leaks. Pulled out a month ago to be replaced with a v-8. This motor is complete with working alternator, water pump, starter, transfer case, and radaitor.Still has plugs with wires attached. The mileage is 152,500. Im asking 1750$-obo for everything. A jasper block alone is 1700$ so i consider this a great deal to get started."

Thanks John. Matt called last week and bought 79 PU in Alabama for a trail truck. He said the cab was in good shape but like all the early PU's the bed is rusted so he'll look for a bed or tube it. I like the tube it idea myself.

I feel very comfortable knowing that my FJ40 will be going to a diehard cruiserhead's home. My cruiser has never spent a day in the rain and has been extremely well cared for. I feel very reassured that she couldn't be going to a better home. You know when you are talking to someone whose as passionate about cruisers as you are when you feel like you could just go on and on and on about cruisers...anyway, it's not just going to a guy that wants a Land Cruiser, etc. And for that, I am glad. The other night, when I told the mrs. and kids, they were shocked. They didn't think I was serious. They had all sorts of questions...probing me for answers. They said "its like part of the family leaving"...etc...etc...and you know, in a strange sort of way, I just smiled....knowing that I'd been told just a few hours earlier just how seeing a cruiser go felt. I tend to get bored with things and move on. I have had many cruisers, so I've seen MANY leave. The 45 pickup is the only one I wish I'd have kept. At any rate, I'm pleased to know that I'm not selling the truck because I have to, but rather because I'm ready to move on to something else (perhaps a very old 1950's vintage FJ25 or 1966 FJ45 SWB pickup???)....only future holds.

Yeah, you're my bud.... I think you've lost your mind. I would have built a new home to hold more cruisers rather than to sell that one That thing was sweet and everyone knew it in town. Too many mods to keep track of. Quietest 40 I've EVER ridden in. If I were at a different place in life, I would have bought it in a second. Just wasn't what I needed at the moment.
However, I understand. New Avatars and sig lines... sometimes you just need a chancge. Landry always says he's not married to any of them.
Can't wait until you find something new. Until then.. I'll be sending you what I find. I'm on hold for the trail truck and the new shop. Then... watch out... will be collecting them.

I don't see how he can do it either. To give you an example, Someone could want to trade me their encapsulated fj-60 with 0 miles on it for my 60 which is not a beauty queen and I would say no way. I guess that I have been through so much with the truck, it literally has become a member of the family. To me, Mike is lucky not to have facet of the sickness, and I can't wait to see his new rig and what he is capable of doing, when it comes to mods.
I will be picking up the cruiser today in Lafayette, if anyone wants to get together for lunch let me know.

I was actually looking at a 2001 for a daily driver and supercharging my 80 since it only has 35k on the motor and wheeling the heck out of it....

1994 Toyota Land Cruiser for sale in Milton. 337-856-3536. Garage kept, one owner. 122K miles on the odometer. Blue in color, interior in great shape, no rust or leaking underneath, no burning oil. Wired for towing, heavy duty tow kit installed.
I personally drove this vehicle yesterday and was really impressed. The owner has babied this rig and is selling for $6900 which is a steal.

No it is off of Lee Station Rd. about 4 miles past Hwy 90. The road is on the left right after a coolie bridge. All I needed was the axle and tried to get for $375 and he didn't take it so go higher. If you end up parting it out I would like a chance to by the front axle.. Sorry if the pictures are small that is the only way the file would fit. to Attachment 205121Attachment 205122

Albert I had one of the guys at the office look while he was over there and he didn't see any solid axle toys when he was pulling a motor but maybe he didn't look good enough. Good luck hunting treasure I hear its a good place and reasonable prices. He needs to get some Toys in there.

Aluminum Rims for Sale
That's right fellas, I'm still alive. The rims I have for sale came off my '78 FJ40 about 6 months ago. My avatar picture is my vehicle with these rims on it. They are just taking up space in my garage. All lugnuts with Gorrilla locks are included. Since I have to post a price according to the rules, let's say $200 for all 5. But make me an offer. I have no use for them

The Guide Vehicle FJ60 is 4-Sale. They just had it fixed a week or so ago as I spoke to the mechanic several times. They have it in the quick quarter. Stay away.

Just listed the Trailblazer in News On Wheels so while I was there I saw this. I'm busting at the seams to go get an 80 but the Trailblazer has to go first
Good price maybe worth a call.

1967 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser - $6500
"1967 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser. I have owned this vehicle since 1994 and have performed several upgrades in excess of $15k. I do not want to sell and do not have to sell. Following is a list of modifications. 350 4 bolt engine th350 transmission, less than 200 miles, electronic egnition, tilt column, Rancho 5000 shocks, Polyurethane bushings, Painless wiring harness, Mickey Thompson "Bullet hole rims, 4 wheel disc brakes, new Brake Booster and Master Cylinder. Refurbished / calibrated Stewart Warner Guages ($900.00). Reupholstered seats and Jump seats. New Eldebrock 650 carburator (needs to be installed). Vehicle runs but needs to be tweaked. I have just spent over $2,500 at Fishers Automotive to get ALL wiring functional. Not pretty but minimal rust, the earlier cruisers like this one have thicker metal. Serious inquiries only. My trade for ? 225-241-8800"
