Dripping Oil In Marty's Driveway. LOL. Only 5 months out of the field as you see it there. Now its back apart again for a 4 inch lift, 33x10.50's, greaseable shackles, and new manifolds and exaust. New pics to come. Turtle Power as my son would say.

My rig and new OEM tire carrier
Friday I recieved a brand new tire carrier (been eyeing it for years at cruiserparts.net). You can see the Toyota labels and part # on it.
I'm attaching pictures of my rig and the tire carrier/rear (note you can see where I fought a telephone pole a few weeks back )

I get excited seeing folks bring these cruisers back to life. If I could I would have a yard full of them and bring them back to life one at a time.

Thanks, I have been repairing and restoring since I was really young. My grandfather and dad got me going. and now thats all I do in my spare time.... My problem is that once I finish them I won't sell them. I fall in love with them and just can't let go. Besides I get so many memories with family and friends, all surrounding my vehicles.

Wait, Tabasco Loco is Theriot? Isn't that the rig I dropped the card on at Home Depot? I hope you know I wiped the drool off your rig out of respect for it!

Yeah, I'll have to show you a battle wound from a tree in Gilmer. The Band Aid we put on it just doesn't quite cover it! I guess that Larry walked away alive we should consider it a battle "won"

Congrats on a Sweet Rig Larry!
Here's a glimpse of Larry's new 78 FJ 40 that he picked up today. Awesome rig! Funny story...
Larry, I'll burn all these full size images to a disc for you.

Thanks Marty and also for your help today. I apprecite you my friend. Scott passed by and helped me unload the hard top and doors after I cleared out some room. You guys are first class and glad to have you as friends. Johnny did a great job building this rig and taking great care of it. I fell like I'm cheating as this is the first 40 I didn't have to work hard to get this nice. I can't take any credit but I will steady improve the old girl to keep her in tip top shape. I thank Johnny for letting her go, and Scott for convincing my wife I needed it.
