yes those are geo's 285 75's. body work less than 9mos ago. i kinda believe that with the locker sliders and tires that was the route that was going.

well it is still a bit hot for the top to come off. maybe southern cruisers crawl. after either a sfttop or bikini top haven't decided.

I looked up the towing capacity in the owner's manual and its states 9100 lbs. for the 2wd or 4wd Armada. Now, all I need is to locate the trailer for rent/borrow.

I told her that it was "doctor's orders"...any chance you could write me a prescription for that. We can even say that the addiction is some sort of illness...I might be on to something here!

can start by we go to our MD`s with vague complaints.
then we will go wheelin return inform MD feel much better!
a week or two later complain again to MD go whellin dito.
let Scott write paper in the journal about his exhaustive study in this new affliction this would require for Scott to go wheelin then you can write off ALL exp as job related and the need for more than one research vehicle tools etc.
in about a year add to the report how well the treatment works!
mean time start having outbreaks all over the IH8MUD community And how they are experimenting with DR Scott treatment.
Hell I can see in a few years could even if we play our cards right have it covered by medical insurance!!
Man I am starting to feel puny already

A jem in the rough !
Now rolling on Toyota axles front and rear. It starts runs goes forward and reverse, that is the good, still no clutch or brakes. Just making it run was a choir. But half the battle is already done no IFS

Good find and I know you'll sure polish that jem. I'm glad to see those rims and tires worked good for someone.

It's the truck John picked up to salvage parts from to do his SAS. It's an 85 soild axle EFI extra cab.I think I can on it and turn it into a nice working truck again.

Whoa... (tries to think of something positive to say about alberts new truck)
Atleast your starting with the best year, wish i had found an 85 when I got the 4runner.
but serisouly that thing looks rough, Your going to Flatbed it and build a cage I hopes if I ever get my gumption up the 4runner is going to turn into something nasty and I am always willing to learn from the experiance of others.
The more I look at it though the more I relaise except for the bed it really doesnt look that much worse than my 4runner did when I bought it. you going to go through the trouble of hunting down an IFS rear for it?

Great progress Albert, glad to see a Toyota axle under it. Its really not that rough one of those shade tree paint jobs and matching wheels it will be good as new. Lets track down that title so it can go on the street one day.
