I did get to visit with Ricardo in New Orleans for 30 min or so. Super nice guy, and enjoyed the visit. We'll schedule a date to get down there to BBQ and help him out for a day on his frame off as he could use a hand and the support.

I passed Jerome on Sunday morning when I was on my way to church. Since it was just in passing, I didn't get to see much. It sure looked nice from what I was able to see. I was in my wife's vehicle so he probably didn't even know it was me when I went by him. He sure had a big smile on his face!

He came by today and is estatic to have it back. Already waxed it this past weekend. He said he put 150 miles on it just cruising with the wife and daughter. We'll get to see it at the meeting Sunday.

Ricardo check out this thread, he added the tail gate like you picked up for yours. Bull has some great looking rigs. Thought you would enjoy. http://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/98297-project-colonel-1979-fj40-4.html

We'll have to ask him Jason good question. I'm sure the folks in the bolt thread would like to hear the feedback as well.

I want to know about the bolt kit as well. Is that some type of "slider" he has or just longer running boards?? Very nice.
Who's gonna tell him his bezel is on upside-down??? lol
I'll bring my screwdriver to the meeting.

Jerome said they used alot of the bolts but not all of them. He said he still had some bolts left over. Will have to get more details from him Sunday.

I can do enough to get me by, I'm in no way a professional by any means. It depends on the task at hand, as for adding the studs for the tailgate and things like that I can surely help you with that.
I made a game last year and the year before in the new suites. great food, open bar and the option to watch the game inside the AC or out on the balcony its very nice and a great environment. You should treat yourself.

Nasty as hell, been raining since 5 a.m. suppose to keep at it until tomorrow and clear up Saturday. Suppose to have good weather through the weekend and early next week cooling off to the upper 80's

Theriot...
This is the link that I was talking about w/ all the old rigs. It also shows the "complete" version of the FJ in the water...pulling a J**p.
http://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.p...ght=whitewater
Thanks to Marshall Sheppard for digging it up for me!
