The set they have covers the sides and hood. I think I am going to give them a try. I just took the truck to a carwash and sprayed it down. It's hard to tell without sunlight but it looks like I only got two significant scratches, one on the drivers door and one on the drivers rear. Ripped off a mudflap too, but after seeing how it looks I think I'll take the other one off too.

I've been thinking of a name for her, and after yesterday I am leaning toward "Janine", after janine Garofalo....they are both tree huggers!

Good news and bad news. Good news - just about everything buffed out and looks great. Bas news, the drivers side "scratch" is a 2' long dent...think I will just put some touch up paint on it so it doesn't rust and probably leave it for now.

It has its high points and lows...lol. It looks good from afar but far from "good" at the moment. But it'll get there. The OEM rims was a good start. I love the rig.

Next... fire extinguisher !

On another note I took the 40 to the farm to see if i could get the front tire to tuck so I can measure to get new bumb stops, that didn't work. I can see that the BFG A/T's are just not going to make the cut. I just could not get any grip. So if you know any one that is looking for a brand new used pair of 32x11.50x15 BFG A/T's I'll make them a good deal.

Post in the 4-Sale section Corey to see if you get any bites.

Side note look at all the folks in the clubhouse tonight

Well this afternoon after I got it home from getting it buffed and everything, I notice my bumper is scratched up, and that was definitely not there last night. Also the plastic fender well has a melted spot where I imagine the buffer got it.

Strangely I am not really aggravated anymore. I guess I have been beaten into submission.

Tire Guage

Cole and I were tire guage-less at the Paradise run, so we ended up borrowing a normal "stick" one and a fancy one that screwed in and pulled the valve out or something.

Tonight I bought a dial type one at Walmart for $8. It has a button on it that will release the air and if you release the button you can read the pressure. Worked really nice.

Mike, I met your Mom Saturday at CVS in New Iberia. She was very nice and a pretty lady too. What a shame those genes missed you!! Anyway, I respect anyone's Mom who will notice you in an FJ40 and come up to you to say "you must be friends with my son." When I asked who that might be she said "Mike Theriot." She said she was on her way to visit you. Where's she from? I noticed an accent.

Check out the look of this one and some of the thought that went into creating it.

Looks good I like the color, but the grille setup would have to go and it needs a bezel looks naked.
