Matt is looking for a Notary if you anyone a friend or family member that can help him. He's putting the Mutt on the road to drive back and forth to work until they get Tina's car fixed.

Your laugh for the day and we do have a meeting this Sunday
Mike was attending his 4X4 club's monthly meeting and had just told them he couldn't make the camping trip scheduled for the next day because his wife wouldn't let him go.
After listening to the jokes and other derisive remarks from his fellow
4X4 friends Mike left to go back home to his wife.
When Mike's friends started arriving to set up camp the next day, who
should be there but Mike sitting up in front of his truck, tent up,
fishing rod in hand, camp oven roast stewing away in a hot bed of coals.
"How did ya talk your wife into letting you go Mike?"
"I didn't have to" was Mike's reply.
"When I left the meeting I went home and slumped down in my chair with a beer to drown my sorrows. Then my wife snuck up behind me and covered my eyes and said, 'Surprise'!"
When I peeled her hands back she was standing there in a beautiful see through negligee and she said, "Carry me into the bedroom, tie me to the bed and you can do whatever you want."
So here I am!

I wanna see some pics of the newest member of the pink panty trail team that just rolled into town. I heard it was running like a fine jem and was a cream puff for the last 11 years the lockers were never engaged. What a nice find.

Good eye Paul, I will have to look into it...I kept an eye on that, it only goes down like that at idle, not sure if it is always at idle though

Looks crazy! it looks light enough though, so I bet you could pull it with the FJC on a 16' trailer, no problem.

I talked to him via email and it sounded like a solid rig from out west. I like the paint job gives it character catch me before Thursday I leave for two weeks in the wee hrs Friday morning unless we run over there Thursday at lunch time. The place doing the work is that Robert's on Verot School Rd? I can make a pass on the way home if its there. We had a previous member Phillip who had some work done there.
This was from his email sent.

Wanted to let you and the club know about the 1977 FJ40 I have for sale in Lafayette! Here are a few pictures. This FJ was purchased out of Seattle about 6 years ago as a project. After owning her for a number of years now and putting alot of time and money into the project, I am ready to sell and move on to another project. This FJ is mechanically sound and is stock other than a few items:
*Adjustable Rancho shocks
*Full family roll cage
*Man-A-Fre header
*3 inch lift
The interior has been totally redone and is near perfect. There is a small bit of rust on the front fenders, but other than that it is relatively rust free for a vehicle of it's age. I did replace the metal plates in and around the cargo area as they had more rust than I could tolerate. The work was done by a company in Dallas that specialized in Landcruiser restorations. The interior was then totally repainted. I am asking $8,700.00, which is well below what I have in it and priced competitively for '77 Landcruiser in this condition.
Please call me if you are interested.

He contacted Marty first and a few weeks later sent a email. pics

Hey Scott (and Paul),
If I were to get a wild hair up my bum and decide to do the re-leather on the 80, how hard was it to do and how long did it take?
Thanks,
E

Seats not bad (if you don't punch too many holes).. door panels SUCKED as I understand it...yeah, I "deferred" those. However, I learned a little bit and I'd be glad to help you. You have to buy the beer though.
