...other thread partly from FJC... struck home.

As I said previously in the thread... this rig is Graham's rig... Super nice guy that let me ride the right seat in Gilmer. It was painted by Chris and his gang at Toyota of big D.

I paid $4000 for a 35 year old turd really worth about $500, put another $6000 in it, some schmuck will pay $20,000 for it and it's now probably really worth $2,000.

I don't think opining about how anyone spends their money on their rigs is worthwhile... considering the financial absurdity of participating in anything "Cruiser-esque".

IMHO, I think it looks great.

My rig is in the pictures with Graham's after I painted it ("modded it for looks").

Amen, Mr. King... Amen.

My rig should be out any day now! Hopefully today. I saw her sitting all lonesome and pitiful the other day at the shop. She looks like she's ready to saddle up and hit the road.

If I call the shop one more time I think they'll break something on it that'll hurt me later. It's killing me though!

Yep, but they still need some back doors and regular windows back there. That back seat is a bad place to be coming off a drunk.

I also talked to the owner of Service Auto Air. He said he can get me that R12 coolant for about $40/pound. I'll need 2 pounds he thinks. He said he can set me up. Does that price sound right?

That or he's going to get to 999 tonight and break it tomorrow while we're all watching. Like how we all watched when Scott lost that BJ 40 for $1 on eBay.

I'm laughing out loud, now I'm gonna put a ticker under my signature. $40 a pound is a good price Marty, my license expired some 5 years ago and it was $35 lb then so I'd say thats right. Make sure they use the sniffer on all the connections before you leave and you lose your $80, and have to go back and spend another $80 it can get costly.
