Easy enough. I'm actually working right now.

I did pick up three 4x4 magazines today at the store. Been needing something to take the edge off.

Read that earlier. Shame. They camped by us last year at SCC. Didn't have that rig though.

Albert, if you have not found someone send me a PM. I know a few people that do roofs in the Lafayette area. The only problem I can see is the time frame may be an issue.

How the hell did he do that in flat grass. Or was he trying to crawl up one of the tires of the other rig for that superfly pose and flopped over

Why does that pic not surprise me?

On another note, I've been laying low lately. Last Tuesday I was at work, walked up to the rig floor, got really dizzy and passed out. I went to the emergency room and found out I had a pulmonary embolism. I must have had a blood clot in my leg that broke loose. I'm feeling pretty normal now, but still trying to get the Coumadin (blood thinner) levels in my blood to where they need to be. Until then I have been injecting myself with another blood thinner. I hate needles and I have a newfound respect for all diabetics that have to do this. I have to say an Our Father every time before I stick the needle in, or else I want to skip it haha.

Wow.. dude, I'm sorry. Keep taking the Lovenox and get your labs done. That's a bad thing. Somewhere about 10 - 15% of folks don't get the chance you got....ie. The first symptom is death w/in the hour. You may want to say that "Our Father" in thanks... wow. Glad you're ok. It's a very big deal. How old are you again Brian? You also need a slew of labs done to figure out why (Thrombophilia workup). You got anyone else in the fam w/ it?? (any clots)

Wow... glad you're ok

Sorry this is so big... ...and for talking shop on mud... (makes my stomach hurt).

Thanks guys, I do feel much better now. I feel very lucky and blessed.

Scott, they are still waiting for the tests to come back. I'm only 36 and my parents don't remember anyone in the family having clots. The scary thing is your reaction is the same as the other doctors. I tell em I'm overweight, was smoking, sit on my butt for a long time at work, yet you all say there are a ton of people in worse shape than me that DON'T get clots at 36 years old. I'm hoping I don't have to take coumadin for life.

I can see you putting a tread mill in your MWD shack Bryan, so that you can exercise while working. You will just have to move those computers out.

If anyone needs a ride though some I high water I will volunteer to go when they allow people to go. I know they had some people help out Vermilion Parish Sheriff Office after Rita. We dropped a jet ski and a boat off of 82 in Easter and went round up some horses, floating over some fences, pretty high water for Rita. Looks like close to the same surge for Ike. Just offering.

Cool pics. Received a call today saying that the platform I work on EC 328A is no longer standing. The company I am contracted to was doing assessments of their facilities and went to my field and all they saw was our EC 328B structure and no sign of the A facility. Naturally the B sturcture is point less with out all of the processing equipment on EC 328A which is now on the bottom of the Gulf. So my work schedule may change, hopefully I get placed somewhere just as nice 328A.
