Moving to Georgetown - Advice?
Hey guys! I'm moving down to Georgetown KY for a 6 month internship at Toyota and wanted some advice from guys who live down that way. If you live in a dry county, what do you do for fun? Around here we hit up the bars about 3-4 times a week, but I'd imagine that'd be hard if you have to drive 5-6 miles to get to a bar in Lexington.
Also, where should I look to find a place to live? I've tried the regular places online with limited success, especially because I'd love to have a garage spot if I could.
Thanks for your help!

Well I just got down to KY yesterday in my cruiser and couldn't be happier with my housing situation! I am rooming with a 27 year old professional in a beautiful house in Lexington. I'm excited to start at TEMA tomorrow!
Do you guys get together regularly?

well we do still wheel. We are still around. I am in Vegas working. been here for over a year now. sort of. Frydaddy has been traveling. Crew chief racing Monster trucks. Mike wine has been driving Monster Trucks. Eric, Luke, Special Boy, and a few others still wheel alot. They built buggies. A couple sold thier rigs to pay bills, and buy houses. So we are still somewhat active. but our orginization has gone down a little.
I would recomend Blue Grass Cruisers I think you are closer to them being in Geargetown.

Thanks for the reply! I'm excited to meet some of you guys because I was a pretty avid wheeler this summer. I posted in the Blue Grass section as well so we'll see who replies. Kenny gave me his number, but I'm not going to call until this weekend because I'm getting situated in my new house. Any local events down this way?
