No. There is an officially recognised issue with some early-batch cranks. Minor model change occurred after August 92. Better vehicle in many respects but the BEB issue didn't go away (where it was "commonly" experienced) until after 95 and the introduction of the multi-valve 1HD-FT. Bottom end was the same, though. There are no known issues with BEB failure in the multi-valve engine (even in Australia).
