2. TLCA NUMBER: none 3. LOCATION: Downers Grove 4. TOYOTA 4x4 VEHICLES: 95 80 series, 4 inch lift, 78 FJ40 project 5. MODIFICATIONS: 6. WHEELING EXPERIENCE:little to non I am in desperate need of help getting the 40 to run properly. I have tried myself and had it at 2 shops to no avail. It was sitting for 9 years. I have put on a new weber carb, done a full tune up, new fuel pump and it still runs poorly. It starts and idles great. One day lst week it ran great. The day vefore the and day after it had the usual symtems. On acceleration it bogs, spits and somtimes backfires. It smells as if it is running to rich. An ideas or suggestions of shops in the western suburbs would be greatly appreciated. |
