I am in desperate need of help getting the 40 to run properly. I have tried myself and had it at 2 shops to no avail. It was sitting for 9 years. I have put on a new weber carb, done a full tune up, new fuel pump and it still runs poorly. It starts and idles great. One day lst week it ran great. The day vefore the and day after it had the usual symtems. On acceleration it bogs, spits and somtimes backfires. It smells as if it is running to rich. An ideas or suggestions of shops in the western suburbs would be greatly appreciated.

6. WHEELING EXPERIENCE: had this since 98. mich dunes, badlands, marsailles, seavey pits (quit this 2 years ago), pittsfield. My experience is fair to mid. I've had my share of pucker factors & broken parts. After a winter of rust repair and making the body presentable, I try not to lay it on it's side anymore.

Just wanted to re-introduce myself under the new screen. Originally I was under "Race4ever" but it's been so long since I logged in I don't remember my password. Then, I think the email I used when I first signed up is no longer active. I plan to be spending more time on here in the future. Actually I plan on meeting up with some of you guys at Portillo's for Ali's homecoming! Not much has changed from vitals below. The new baby has been keeping me busy!
