I won't make it, but if you could go by the rock garden near the bluffs, take some pics and post ok? I haven't heard anyone talk about them yet, and I'm curios. Boring pebbles? Narly massive boulders?

Pretty nasty boulders covered in cliffs slime. Carl ripped a sidewall on his 40" krawlers. Tom broke a pitman arm in half!!!!!!!!!!!! on the same day. Gumby tried it and was denied. I have yet to try it. (before the dual cases and lower ride hieght boulder fields were misserable in my truck) I have some pics Ill see what I can find.

I got grabbed at the last minute to play Boy Scout leader this weekend with my son's troop. I'll be at the fabulous White Pines State Forest near Dixon IL. There's not enough vodka for this trip

perv. somethings are better off left unsaid.

oldnslo how set are you on going? Phil might be in jail this weekend as stated above. 4rnr might not be in cause of a possible master cylinder issue and he mentioned that gumby might go but he is not planning on it anymore. So if anything it may just be me and you. If anything I was thinking about giving 7 a shot going up but havent got a winch yet. Im planning on hopefully winning one from the guy who rigged the raffle at the jambo last year as gumby stated in the other thread. Unless you have a winch?

I strongly recommend going down it first before you decide to go up it!!

Last time I tried it I was using all my (at the time) 3.0 squirels and I still found myself at the end of the winch twice.

But youve got my phone number maybe ill come rescue you...maybe

First off... Phil and little boys scare me...Second I don't have a winch as of yet! Thinking of buying one of toms 8274 he has at his shop. I need to take the trip down there tommorrow for the 40's maiden voyage! how about 9:30 in the parking lot!

I'm certainly not "Uncle Hugs Too Much"! I have been called "Uncle Drinks Too Much" and "Uncle Farts Too Much" but thats a whole other story.

BAMF you better take pics of Brian and his alleged 40. Personally I think it's a figment of his imagination where he thinks his riding lawn mower can actually climb a hill. Knowing him though, he's probably put a set of spinners on it just to cruise his sub-division.

I'm sorry that this is off topic but, Phil, Dixon is close to Sterling, which is where I grew up. If you're lookin for a place to eat while you're in Dixon, you should check out BBY chicken-they've got great chicken strips that come w/ a sweet/tangy sauce. They've also got real good "fried twinkies". Before I had em, i thought this is going to be too sweet for me, but actually is very tasty.
The restaurant is on W. River st. you won't be able to miss it.
Just thought I'd put that out there.
Cheers

Considering it's the Cliff's it looks a bit drier than usual! Looks like you guys might have had some fun. I'm off to scratch at my bug bites.

Almost forgetted! There's a 40 in decent shape on Rt. 64 in Oregon IL sitting at the front of an automotive shop. We know anyone out that way?
