New User registration requires a valid email address, and these email addresses are now checked. Upon registration, an email is dispatched containing an activation link...if you don't use a valid email address, you can't register.

Yahoo, Hotmail, MSN, AOL, and some others are notorious for tossing these forum-generated emails into the spam/junk mail box...PLEASE check there for these emails.
