How to get an Avatar posted
Dang I tell you what I am new to this forum and it has proven to be the hardest to get into. Evertime I would log on it would do so then boot me off. Anyway I am trying to get my Avatar set up and when I pull up to edit it already has selected No avater. Any help would be nice. thanks
Daniel

Lets see if I can remember how. Try the following:
1. click on userCP
2. " edit avatar
3. " use custom avatar
4. " browse
You may have to size the image you are using to make it fit. It will tell you how many pixels are allowed.
Hope that helps.

Your Current AvatarNo Avatar Specified Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.
this is all that i get. no other options

As I recall, there should be a circle to click for using a custom avatar under the top box, then you need to either specify a web page or browse to select a file on your computer. It is not real obvious, but it should be there.

If you click the grey "browse" box you should be able to navigate to your photo program or wherever you want to select the image from. It may take a little imaginative jockeying. Larger photos will have to be sized down to fit.

to use some of the stuff on this site you have to have a certain number of posts. that may be keeping you from avataring.

There should be two text areas surrounded by a box. The top one is "Your current avatar", the bottom is custom Avatar, do you not have the bottom box? See the attached image, is this not what you get?

member "upgrades" don't occur instantly, so you may need to be patient for 24 hours....some server things don't happen but once a day....
