im a new-bie so i learning my way around..... i believe one has to
post a certain amount to be able to upload and avatar...is that correct and how many?

That is correct. The welcome email that comes to you automatically upon registration includes this information. Once you have 10 tech posts (IIRC) you can begin to customize your user profile. Or you can buy a silver star and have those capabilities immediately.

not required....appreciated, but not required...
and I'm only putting on about 6000 miles this trip....hardly call that 'gallavanting' or however that's spelt..
met a SEMA VP last nite....used to own a FJ55
chatted a LOT with one of the 'guys' with EBay Motors....good things coming
had cocktails tonite with the editors of a couple magazines...
it's been a C R A Z Y week, but very productive
