Unread Posts Won't Clear
Why won't my unread posts clear when after I log out? I have 782 unread posts. Typically, the "other" VBulliten forums I belong to will clear all the recent new posts. Only new posts after that log out will show up next time I log in. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere???

Okay, so this forum will not clear "all read" when I log out? I appears I have to "mark forums read" every time before I log out? Reason I ask is the "other" VBulletin forums clear out at log out...

this forum uses the 'persistent mark read' system....it allows busy users who don't have time to read all the posts when they log in to keep them 'unread' until they choose...
it is a setting in vBulletin...and it's been that way here for years
