What happened to birfield.com?

Haven't been there for a while or gotten a email from the LCML for a while. I tried to go to the site, and the name doesn't even resolve. Is this wonderful resource gone for good? If so, I'll be in mourning...

They have been gone for several years. I think they were assimilated into the IH8MUD kingdom in Woody's quest to conquer the Toyota 4x4 world.

OK, maybe not ...

I hope this is the case. While I am a lurker, I've been on that list for a long, long time.

A disk went bad in a server somewhere out east. Morgan was trying to figure out how to recover the data last I heard.

Talk about good news / bad news! Sounds like it will return, but we all hope that nothing gets lost. Thanks for the update and best wishes to one of the pioneers of our hobby.
