Wednesday Feb 4 - IMPORTANT
few things are happening, now that we've beaten down today's issues....
the database server that runs the forum will be coming down about 10:30a CDT - removing FedoraCore and switching to CentOS, then reinstalling MySQL and reloading the databases
We are also working on database mirroring between the two servers
I'm off to bed....sick as a dog, and need some sleep....
again, sorry everyone for the issues....been a long day...

we're just happy that MUD is up most of the time...
A day without it is fairly easily survivable...
2 or 3 days, not so sure...
1 week, you get a mob converging on WI from all sides....

That's a fairly accurate discription. I know if it was down for a week I'd be roadtrippin to WI. One, even two days isn't that bad, I can usually just sleep off the downtime but if it went longer then that I think I would freak out. I hope you have a zombie contingancy plan woody, to keep 'mud up in even the darkest of days.
Get better Homie!

from your other thread .. thought ( my preference ) SuSe do it better than Fedora .. ( not yet try CentOS full to talk about it ) ..
What it's that plugin that you are working on .. ?
If I can help .. course my forum it's a pin hole in the MUD universe ..
EDIT: admin a forum it's the most of time great and fun .. but there are several ocations ( though tlike this one ) that is much more stresing than a Bank Manager ( most right know around the world ) ..
So take it easy .. you are doing a fantastic job ..
