Missing posts again?

Last time it was a chat issue. Got that.

This time I don't think that's the problem. I posted replies to both of these threads:

Both replies should be under "more replies beyond current depth", but I can't find the posts. I added another post to the "Tall Skinnies" post at the bottom, but there should be two now.

I'm seeing two posts on the tire thread and one on the hj45 from you...

okay that's strange, if I look at http://forum.ih8mud.com/search.php?searchid=2805705 (your history of posts) all three of those posts show that they were made after this thread was started...
must be a warp in the 'mud/space continuum...

Don't worry, it happens to me sometimes. I will click on a thread that I know I posted to but my post is not there. The next time I look at the thread it is there. I think it has to do with my internet connection because shortly after it happens, I get bumped off and have to re-sign in. My post then show up.

'bout the only thing that might do that is your browser cache not refreshing the page information....ctrl-F5 is a "hard refresh" and may cure that when you see it happen

I'm not complaining, just FYI.

It's not browser cache.

If you go to the list of my posts, and click the ones that don't show up, they take me to the top of the thread, whereas 'normal' posts, take me to the post.

This is Firefox 2.0.0.11.

And no D'smartass, I'm not on my ignore list.

do you view in linear, hybrid, or threaded mode?? I'm always in linear...perhaps that's the oddity....

They still show up in the list of "Find more posts by Fast Eddy".

Yup, it's hybrid mode. Linear works fine. In hybrid mode only posts indented up to a certain level have their titles shown in the thread summary view. Additional posts are only available by clicking "more replies...".

Now I am missing some threads.

I posted up a FJ62 transfer case in the for sale section on Saturday and it it not here at all.

I searched under my name as well as the date of the thread.

I will repost it as a new thread.

Any info? I still have to change over to linear mode to see some replies. It's kind of a pain, but I'm willing to keep doing it as long as I can hang around.

I can't really live without Hybrid mode. I always switch right back.
