| Openads what's with the openads thing popping up in links, has some code changed, or something?
f'rinstance, I was trying to paste a link into text and , when posted, it shows "openads" rather than the text I typed
I haven't ventured into the tech section, are all of posers links going to say "check out the Openads" I'm sure that someone has noticed and it's getting dealt with, but I used the search function, and didn't find anything pertaining to it, so I just thought I would mention it
thanks
-stefan
example: I am going to post axle, with a link to help axle
and so I type axle, highlight it, click the "insert link" button paste the link help axle
and I get: Openads

| is there a way to disable that?
I tried to post a web address and it shows the dumbass's misnamed page.
Is there any way to override it? I tried to manually modify it, but it was a no go.
sometimes I simply want to display www,ih8mud,com rather than IH8MUD.com - "The Truth is in the Rocks"
y'know?

| I beleive if you put <-these-> around your link, it will stop any autoformatting from happening
eg. your above link: IH8MUD.com - Home
with noparse is shown as http://www.ih8mud.com/
(and yes, I had to put noparse tags around my noparse tags to show them )
HTH

HTH | thanks that will help...although now, for some reason, I feel like I'm being dragged back down to the basement of the computer science building again...
