vBulletin

Hi All folks ..

This it's not related to IH8MUD .. but maybe someone can help me here ..

Recently I change my hosting and buy vBulletin for my new forum .. instalation works perfect and take some time to learn ( 600 + pages in the vBulletin Manual ! ) but no big deal ..

The story: create a ftp user with public_html access .. after the user end the job I delete .. !

EEEEEEERRRRROOOOOORRRR !!!!

Fact: delte with the user my public_html folder .. I restore some info and configs from my laptop and my forum it's working again .. but I have no cpanel

I know most of the info was in the DB .. and just wondering which could be the best way to restore .. copy from another cpanel folder ( where to find ? ) or simple run the instal.php again and keep the DB as is . ?

Any commend will be very aprecitated ..

should be able to re-run the install and it'll only update the missing info

I run the installer again .. with no luck, it conect to the DB and detect that exist and have data. Offer me the option to select tables to delete .. I choose no delete any table I have't a continue option .. Offer me the option to back to the instalation process and in the instalation proces only have the upgrade option ..

I run it and make some updates but no create the cpanel folder again ..

what do you think ? I'm lost .. the vBulletin forum aren't much help right now ..

it's solved right now .. thanks .. I will working in other details .. and wish you can help me in the future with others issues.
